Horticulture consultants are highly trained professionals who are qualified to assist clients with a variety of issues related to plants, their identification and health. Contrary to agriculturalists who manage large-scale cultivation of field crops, horticulture consultants address smaller-scale residential gardens and landscapes.
Sometimes referred to as horticulturists, these professionals provide specialized advice and technical services in all aspects of the garden, large or small. Horticultural consultants are also typically knowledgeable in cultural practices, environmental design, microclimates, and modern technology. Furthermore, horticulturalists can create custom landscape management schedules, plant lists, as well as provide clients with solutions to many gardening dilemmas.
